After the merger of two large hospitals, both existing Gotham customers, the new organization began moving towards integration of all of its systems and engaged Gotham to help with the integration of its Active Directory infrastructure.
During the requirements and impact study, it was determined that the RSA two-factor authentication mechanism used at one of the hospitals would have issues during the migration process because of duplicated user IDs.
Because of this limitation, it was decided to rebuild the RSA Authentication Manager environment to support Citrix and VPN access to not be Active Directory integrated. This required the rebuild of the environment and migration of the data.
